Outsource analysis
The client possesses its own complaint box, whether or not rented or purchased from Neighborhood NoiseNow. The client places the case himself in a nuisance situation after a thorough short training by one of our advisors. The advantage of having your own complaint box is that the client can take care of the planning and keep direct contact with the tenant/user. After the measurement session, the client collects the complaint box and sends the data files to BurenlawaaiNu for analysis. Analyzing the data files from the monitoring is sometimes difficult because it is a matter which can be quite detailed. We at Neighbourhood Noise Now are daily engaged in monitoring and analysis of duration measurements and can take this worry off your hands.
For the analyses you can choose between 3 types of analysis namely short, intermediate or extensive analysis.
Brief Analysis
The brief analysis involves the following procedure. The data files are sent to the administration of Neighborhood Noise Now. Then one of the analysts will briefly analyze the different data files in our acoustic laboratory with the corresponding sound software. The peaks, if any, will be briefly analyzed for sound power level. The other files, which are much lower than the set standards, will not be analyzed. In short, this brief analysis focuses only on the peaks that score above the standards. The own noise is filtered out, whereby ultimately the nuisance fragments remain. In a note it is indicated what nuisance was found and whether further investigation in an interim or extended analysis is necessary.
Between analysis
The intermediate analysis proceeds as follows. The data files are sent back to the administration of Neighborhood Noise Now. Next, one of the analysts will analyze the different data files in our acoustic laboratory with the corresponding sound software. The fragments are now filtered for peaks per 24-hour period of the day in question. These 24-hour periods concern the day period (07:00-19:00 hrs), evening period 19:00-23:00 hrs) and the night period (23:00-07:00 hrs). In short, this intermediate analysis focuses on the peaks within each 24-hour period that score above the standard. All fragments of a 24-hour period are analyzed in groups. The own noise is filtered out and the nuisance fragments remain. In a detailed note it is indicated what nuisance was found and whether further research in a comprehensive is necessary.
Comprehensive Analysis
The comprehensive analysis is a continuation of the intermediate analysis. The data files are sent to the administration of Neighborhood NoiseNow. The fragments are now all analyzed and discussed in more detail on a piece by piece basis. In short, this extended analysis focuses on each fragment within all 24-hour periods. The own noise is filtered out, leaving only the nuisance fragments. In a comprehensive report is indicated what nuisance is found and whether further investigation, for example checking the house dividing constructions or other measures are necessary. An extensive analysis can also be used in legal proceedings.
